- Both parsley and mint freshen breath

1 Tablespoon olive oil
1½ cup water
2½ cups whole wheat flour
½ cup whole grain old fashioned rolled oats
2 Tablespoons fresh mint, finely chopped
⅓ cup flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
¼ teaspoon garlic, minced
YIELD: Approximately 150 treats.
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Mix flour, oats, mint, parsley and garlic together in a large bowl
- Add water and oil to dry ingredients, stirring to form a dough. Add additional water if dough is too dry.
- Knead and roll out on floured, flat surface until approx ⅛ inch thick.
- Using a circular 1½ inch diameter cookie cutter, cut circles.
- Bake on parchment or SILPAT for approximately 35 minutes.
